Account Manager
The successful candidate's primary function will be to manage customer relationships and deliver forecasted sales within identified key accounts on a global basis. This person shall lead a team of company resources as deemed necessary to close, deliver, expand, and support the business within the key accounts. This will involve working with a diverse group of cross-functional teams on a regular basis. It also involves working with international sales/business offices to develop tactical and strategic sales initiatives when required to manage a key account globally.
Requirements include:
- Bachelor's Degree (must be engineering related) with over 5 years experience selling capital equipment involving advanced technology control and data acquisition systems (engine/powertrain testing or process control industry/distributed control systems experience desired).
- Experience selling on a consultative and solution sales basis
- Demonstrated success with a track record selling to and managing large, complex accounts; experience selling to new groups within the same organization beyond the traditional contacts
- Experience preparing and presenting technical proposals in a professional manner using effective sales and presentation skills
- Ability to write and manage the generation of complex proposals
- Experience in developing strategic marketing and sales plans related to key accounts assigned and/or geographical areas covered
- Experience in sales forecasting
- Willingness to travel (Asia and North America)
Applications Engineer
Responsibilities include applications development and commissioning of complex, state-of-the-art engine, transmission, battery or HEV test systems, applying A&D and third-party tools (such as MATLAB/Simulink) to complex testing needs to help customers bridge the gap between models and test.
Requirements include:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering preferred)
- 6 months - 1 year of exposure to PC applications, high-speed digital data acquisition and test laboratory instrumentation
- Must have a basic understanding of internal combustion engines, engine controls and testing.
- Experience applying dynamometers/drives to engine testing
- ECU and engine calibration process, engine mapping, engine modeling with experience using MATLAB, Simulink and MBC Toolbox
- A&D ADAPT, ATLAS, VXIn or iTest software products operation
