A pre-engineered low cost data acquisition and control system
The BaseLine TestPak system is a user-installable integrated, pre-engineered data acquisition and control system designed for engine/dynamometer test cell applications. It is based upon our BaseLine DAC real-time data acquisition and control system using ADAPT, VX-In, or iTest software.

Features:
- Real-time DAC system
- Operator workstation with PC
- Dynamometer controller
- Throttle controller
- Facilities interface
- Swinging boom/transducer box with:
- 4 pressure transducers
- 30 thermocouple input jacks
BaseLine TestPak is made up of two primary sub-systems. They include an operator control console, and a cell enclosure with an integrated boom arm and transducer box. Pre-assembled cables are included for interconnection between the two sub-systems.
Operator Control Console
The Operator Control Console design is based on an industry-standard 19" equipment rack, complete with an integral laminated 45"-wide counter top. The counter top height is set at an ergonomic 40" to ensure comfortable operation either standing or sitting on a lab-style chair.
The BaseLine unit, PC workstation, dynamometer controller and UPS are housed in the console. Additional spare rack space is available for customer use. The counter top is sized to provide adequate space for the GUI-PC peripherals, as well as other customer items. The workstation connects to the cell enclosure with simple plug in cables; no discrete wiring is required.
Cell Enclosure
The boom assembly and transducer box include a swivel feature, enabling 180 degree movement. The boom length is set at 80", which allows the transducer box to be easily positioned over the test cell bedplate area. Test article-specific signals are connected to the system via the transducer box.
The wall-mounted signal and power enclosure houses the interface panels, dynamometer/throttle controls, power supplies, relays and power distribution. Connections from the BaseLine unit are simple plug-in cables.
