The iView Web Server provides remote access to the test cell control systems from a remote location. With no software required other than an internet browser and network access, this powerful tool allows an engineer or lab manager to monitor testing activity without actually being in the test cell.
iView is included with a standard A&D iTest data acquisition and control package. It also installs easily into existing VX-In and ADAPT control systems with preconfigured display screens that can be modified to provide the channel names used in the test system configuration. The functionality provided is read-only to protect the personnel in the test cell. A remote user cannot directly control the test cell PC functionality.
Accessing iView is very simple. After opening the internet browser, the IP address for the target test cell controller is entered in the address line.
