Overview

The Hardware Support Plan is designed to get you up and running faster for a low fixed price.  We include all the necessary parts and labor in the plan to assist  you in keeping your A&D equipment in good operating condition.  If problems arise you will have access to telephone and email support with hardware experts who will quickly work through your issue or assist you in returning your equipment for repair.

Plan Details

Parts

A&D will provide parts and materials necessary to return your covered equipment to proper operating condition within one (1) business day.  Replacement parts will be new or  equivalent to new (remanufactured) and will be shipped at A&D's expense.  Replaced parts become the property of A&D.

Preventive Maintenance

Includes all procedures designed to extend useful product life.  We will perform this maintenance in accordance with the manufacturer's recommended procedures.  Maintenance will be performed at the A&D facility in Ann Arbor, MI.  Return shipping to your site is included.  Preventive procedures include performance and diagnostic checks, voltage adjustments and board-level calibration if appropriate.  This service is available one time per year for covered equipment.

Engineering Improvements

Engineering improvements to the products covered by this plan will be made by A&D at the Ann Arbor, MI facility.  Return shipping to your site is included.  Improvements/modifications may include Engineering Change Orders (ECO) updates, as defined by A&D.  This service is performed on all modules returned for repair or replacement, or on modules returned as part of a system-level upgrade.

Coverage
Hours

Service and Support, Maintenance and Help Desk services will be provided from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm EST, Monday through Friday, excluding A&D-observed holidays.

Technical Support

A&D will provide up to ten (10) hours of Help Desk support, as well as unlimited email support to address hardware questions and troubleshoot other issues.

Discount Services

This support plan includes a 10% discount on software, in-house training at A&D, spare parts and on-site labor rates.

Travel Expenses

Travel and living expenses will be invoiced at cost.
