ADAPT Test Define

Overview

The two-day ADAPT Test Define Workshop is an intensive program that builds skills and confidence in test programming through practice and participation. All participants should have completed the two-day ADAPT Operation Course and have a solid knowledge of Windows terms and functions. Engineers and instrumentation technicians of all experience levels will benefit from the course, as well as experienced test cell operators who have been running tests with an ADAPT system for six months or more.

Objectives

• Build test programming skills and confidence
• Build a test starting with the definition of signals and progressing to parameters, control loops, states, macros and finally the test schedule itself
• Identify ADAPT Test Define terminology
• Set up signals, parameters and global limits
• Create control loops and conditions
• Define automatic data taking states
• Work with macros
• Build a test sequence
• Debug a new test
• Operate an engine in manual and automatic control modes using ADAPT
