Overview
The four-day Atlas Mapping & Optimization Workshop is a highly interactive program that emphasizes hands-on experience with functioning test cell. Instruction is designed for users that have a familiarity with Windows and The MathWorks' MBC Toolbox™. The workshop is essential for people who will be interacting with the Mapping & Optimization software. The course will benefit test cell operators, engineers and instrumentation technicians of all experience levels, and test lab managers or supervisors responsible for technical support.
Objectives
- Identify Mapping & Optimization components, features and operation terminology
- Explain the directory structure that is employed
- Create sequences with the VCL scripting language
- Practice starting and shutting down the Mapping & Optimization system
- Apply the elements of the system configuration interface
- Define and modify the different elements of the Mapping & Optimization database
- Set up new logs, limits and system calculations
- Explain the relationships between Mapping & Optimization, MBC and ECM software
- Perform system functions through the use of mailslot messaging
- Build new display screens with the display builder utility
- Set up PID loops and mode pairs
- Program pushbuttons
- Identify schedule editor functionality
- Identify test manager terminology
- Build custom display screens with the display builder utility
- Author an automatic test sequence incorporating custom displays and programmatic logging of data
- Debug test building errors
- Export DoE (MBC Toolbox) schedules into ATLAS to run on a test bed system
- Import test results to MATLAB, for use with Calibration Generation (CAGE)
